Clear rules for a safe purchase

As a consumer, you have the right to refuse the goods purchased in a distance contract within 14 days, without indicating the reason for the refusal, unless an exception is provided for in regulatory enactments.

This information applies to consumers – natural persons who purchase goods for a purpose that is not related to economic or professional activity.

Withdrawal period

  • The right of withdrawal can be exercised within 14 days from the date of receipt of the goods.
  • If the order consists of several goods that are delivered separately, the withdrawal period starts from the day of receipt of the last product.
  • The right of withdrawal is considered to have been exercised within the time limit if the notice of withdrawal has been sent before the expiry of the 14-day period.

How to exercise the right of withdrawal?

To exercise the right of withdrawal, send us a clear notice of your wish to withdraw from the order:

  • writing to e-mail info@craftin.lv;
  • indicating the order or invoice number;
  • giving the name, surname and contact details;
  • if possible, briefly indicating for which product or order the refusal is submitted.

You can use the sample withdrawal form attached below, but this is optional. The right of withdrawal may also be exercised by sending any other explicit notice of withdrawal.

Return of the product

  • The product must be returned within 14 days after sending the notice of withdrawal.
  • Before returning the product, please contact us to clarify the practical return procedure and address.
  • The product must be packed securely so that it is not damaged during return.
  • The cost of the return is borne by the buyer, except in cases where the product is damaged, incorrect or does not correspond to the order due to the fault of CraftIN.

You have the right to inspect the product to the extent that it would be possible in the store to verify its nature, characteristics and operation. If the product is used more than necessary for its inspection, you can be responsible for the decrease in the value of the product.

Cashback

  • The money is refunded no later than 14 days after receiving the notice of withdrawal.
  • We may withhold a refund until the item is returned or until you have provided proof of return of the item.
  • The value of the product and the original standard delivery costs, if any, are refunded.
  • If you chose a more expensive delivery method than our standard delivery, additional shipping costs are not refunded.
  • Repayment is made by bank transfer, unless otherwise agreed with the client.

When is the right of withdrawal not applicable?

In the case of CraftIN, this may apply, for example, to goods with a customer’s choice:

  • name, text, date or initials;
  • image, logo, symbol or individual design;
  • size, shape, colour combination or other special adjustment;
  • other personalization, due to which it is no longer possible to offer the product to another buyer as a standard product.

The right of withdrawal does not affect the consumer’s right to submit a claim if the product is damaged, incorrect or does not correspond to the order.

If the product is damaged, incorrect or does not correspond to the order

If the received product is damaged, incorrect or does not correspond to the order, please contact us as soon as possible by writing to info@craftin.lv.

In order to be able to assess the situation more quickly, please indicate the order or invoice number, a brief description of the problem and, if possible, attach photos.

If the non-conformity is due to an error by CraftIN, we will offer an appropriate solution, such as repairing, remanufacturing, changing, reducing the price or refunding the product in accordance with the specific situation and the requirements of regulatory enactments.

Important information

  • The right of withdrawal applies only to consumers – individuals.
  • The right of withdrawal shall not apply to legal persons or purchases made for the purposes of economic or professional activity.
  • We recommend that you keep the proof of return of the product in order to be able to prove that the product has been returned if necessary.
  • For individually made and personalized goods, the right of withdrawal does not apply, but this does not cancel the customer’s right to a solution in the event that the product is damaged, incorrect or does not correspond to the order.
